Requirements

Requirements

Qualified students with a Bachelor’s degree from accredited institutions of higher education are eligible for admission to the program. Admission is competitive and based on transcripts and letters of recommendation. Students should have a minimum of 3.6 GPA, (“B+”) grade-point average, 87% or equivalent.

English Language Proficiency Requirements  

If the applicant's native language is not English or if they have not previously studied at an institute of higher education where the language of instruction is English they must submit official computer based test TOEFL or IELTS scores. The minimum computer based test TOEFL score required is 95 . The minimum IELTS score is 7.

 To demonstrate the required level of English language proficiency - Students should show a formal document attesting to their results in the following English knowledge tests:  a minimum of 95 in the computer based TOFEL Test*, or a minimum of 7 in the IELTS test or a minimum of 670 in the SAT critical reading score. See also relevant links here below.

Prescreening

First of all, and do not continue before you have done this, write to the head of the program Prof Ifat Maoz at msifat@mail.huji.ac.il and express your interest in studying in the program. Attach to the email the formal transcripts of your BA studies including the GPA, the results of an English language approved proficiency test if needed, a one page CV, and a one page declaration of intentions stating why you want to study in the program, what is your goal and what is your relevant background. All in English. Include in your email questions that you have regarding the program.
